The DC Guitars Pavilion range is a line of handbuilt guitars created through our dedicated custom guitar shop. Designed with a stylistic nod to the elegant proportions of the classic parlor acoustic guitar, these electric instruments offer the body depth and tonal flexibility of a modern custom shop electric guitar – making them both familiar and innovative.
Expanding the lineup, the Sovereign Bass has now been added to the range and is available in both solid-body and hybrid (semi-hollow) models. As with all DC Guitars instruments, these are fully custom-built guitars, offering individuality and precision at every level.
Each guitar is built to order, making DC Guitars a leading choice for players seeking a custom guitar shop experience. You can choose from a wide selection of tonewoods, hardware, pickups and finishes – all tailored to suit your personal sound and style. Subtle refinements, such as belly carves, armrests, and f-holes, as well as neck thickness and profile, can also be adjusted for enhanced comfort and playability.

Deposit and Payment Terms
Building a bespoke DC Guitar is a collaborative journey that begins the moment we finalise your unique specifications. To secure your place on the bench and allow for the procurement of premium tonewoods and specialised components, I operate under a clear set of staged payment terms. These ensure that every commission receives the dedicated time and artisanal focus it deserves, from the initial joinery through to the final setup.
- Initial Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is payable once the final commission specification is agreed upon and signed off.
- Final Balance: The remaining balance is due upon completion, prior to or at the time of collection or delivery of the instrument.
- Withdrawal Policy: Should a customer choose to withdraw from the commission during the build phase or at the point of completion, the instrument will be finished and placed into general stock for sale. In these instances, the deposit will be retained and only returned once the instrument has been sold to a new owner, minus any specific costs or expenditures incurred during the bespoke build process.
The ‘Original’ Pavilion Parlor
The ‘Original’ Parlor is a semi-hollow, flat-top, electric guitar with a set neck.
The featured model has an English Walnut cap, with a Brazilian mahogany body and neck. The neck has a 5-piece stringer. The pickups are from Bare Knuckle. The guitar is built with high quality hardware including a Tone Pro bridge and Gotoh machine heads.

The Pavilion Royale
The Royale is a semi-hollow, carved-top, electric guitar with a set neck.
The featured model has a Flame-Maple carved cap stained cherry red, with a Brazilian mahogany body and neck. The guitar has a 5-piece stringer throughout. The pickups are from Bare Knuckle. The guitar is built with high quality hardware including a Tone Pro bridge and Gotoh machine heads.

The Pavilion Thinline
The Thinline is a semi-hollow / solid hybrid, flat-top electric guitar with a bolt-on neck.
The model pictured has a flame-maple cap stained cherry red with faux binding. The body is swamp ash and the neck is roasted birds-eye maple. The hardware is predominantly GOTOH and the pickups are from Bare Knuckle. The guitar is finished with Tru-Oil.

The Pavilion Model T
The Model T is a solid body, flat-top electric guitar with a bolt-on neck.
The guitar featured has an Obeche body with a maple neck and ziricote fingerboard and faux f-holes. The bridge and tuners are GOTOH and the pickups are from Bare Knuckle.

The Sovereign Bass
The Sovereign Bass is a solid body bass guitar with a bolt-on neck.
Both 5-string and semi-hollow models are available.
The guitar featured has an African Mahogany body with a Maple neck and Ebony fingerboard and a faux f-hole. The bridge is from GOTOH and the tuners are from Schaller. The pickups are from Bare Knuckle.
